PF-ALU/HTR system

Description

PF-ALU/HTR horizontal profile, continuous support of the upper and lower GR-TR anchor, fixed to the PF-ALU vertical profiles with self-drilling screws, has the function of supporting the weight of the cladding and the wind load. The GR-TR anchor, specially designed for coatings of different thicknesses, is attached to it using the TR-MASA Plug, designed for porcelain and/or stone slabs that have good compression resistance. The technique used in this system is that of an extruded aluminum anchor machined with specific geometry to fit into the horizontal profile, with height adjustment and attached to the covering by introducing the TR-MASA plug into the cylindrical holes made in the back of the the plates that will make up the cladding. In the same way as the other Masa products, it allows great ease of assembly with the possibility of replacing or placing plates at any point of the cladding.

System designed for the solution of small thickness cladding and especially for slate/filite, due to its high level of exfoliation. System designed for the solution of cladding with pieces in a vertical position, with a continuous horizontal and free vertical joint. Recommended for compact materials (Ex: Granites, Basalts, etc.).

Features

Technical Specifications:
· Minimum thickness of the cladding: 10 mm.
· Minimum recommended joint: 9 mm. horizontal and 3 mm. vertical.
· Mechanization: drill calibrated by the back of the pieces
· Calculations made with maximum densities of 3000 kg/m3.

PF-ALU/HTR System Families
The horizontal profiles that make up the PF-ALU/HTR system are
They are sold in 3 models: PF-ALU/HTR-40, PF-ALU/HTR-60 and PF-ALU/HTR-120 depending on the thickness, dimension and position of the covering plates. These clip profiles are integral with the PF-ALU vertical profiles and ES-ALU fastening elements in all three versions, which allows the system regulation to be kept intact.

With the increase in KNAUF's WM.es type light enclosures, which require good vertical and horizontal planimetry, new calculation tables have been studied to be able to install the HTR clamp profiles, to anchor them directly to the enclosure and integral to KNAUF's own vertical structure (EXP. ITEC. QP-IT-4158-01.A)

PF-ALU-HTR-40
Optimal Horizontal Profile for holding low-height pieces of 40/60 cm. Its limited dimension allows optimizing the separation between the PF-ALU profiles, achieving greater competitiveness with pieces in a horizontal position with a continuous horizontal and free vertical joint, and thicknesses of 10 to 20 mm. Requires a calibrated drill on the back of the piece.

PF-ALU-HTR-60
Horizontal profile with greater inertia, to accommodate pieces of intermediate height of 60/100 cm. It is the most used clip profile model, since it covers the vast majority of parts normally studied. It also allows greater flexibility, since it adapts correctly to small parts without losing its competitiveness, and to larger parts without losing its resistance. Thicknesses from 20 to 50 mm. Requires a calibrated drill on the back of the piece.

PF-ALU-HTR-120
Horizontal profile with high inertia, specially designed to support large pieces, preferably in a vertical position, with a continuous horizontal and free vertical joint. Requires a calibrated drill on the back of the piece.
