We are excited to share all the details about one of our most recent projects: the transformation of the facade of the Àngel Guimerà School in Pallejà.
To begin, we conducted a comprehensive audit focused on improving the building's energy efficiency. After carefully analyzing the needs and possibilities, we decided to concentrate on the ground floor and work up to a height of 2,18 meters, as the rest of the façade was covered with an External Thermal Insulation Composite System (ETICS).
Being a rehabilitation, we faced a challenge: the support did not have a continuous planimetry and had different projections. This forced us to use various fastening elements to guarantee the stability and durability of the project. As for the coating, we chose the BASIC RIVET with HPL FUNDERMAX, large panels (2188×1423 mm) decorated with horizontal and vertical strips that were placed on the new SATE coating.
To carry out this ambitious undertaking, we partnered with the architecture specialist manufacturer, A Contraluz Arquitectura , whose experience and knowledge were fundamental in making our vision a reality.
This project is not only about an aesthetic renovation, but also about a commitment to energy efficiency and the improvement of the educational environment.
